Our
Story

Get to Know Our Family

Hi I'm Mel and I am Harry's mum.

In 2020 I started  a blog called Climbing the rainbow, where I shared my journey as a SEN parent. Shortly after launching my blog, lockdown ensued and I turned my attention to helping children with additional needs understand the changing world around them, by creating free visual resources to download and print at home. The resources were successful and used in homes, schools and hospitals across the country. Which saw me win awards for my work in the community. You can find more about this by clicking the link below.

As Harry has grown he has contributed more to my blog and often shares his feelings about the world. I always have told him, he has a way with words and that he helps others by being so open. Now he is older he feels inspired to start his own blog. I am so very proud of him.

Life by the sea

Harry and his family live in the most easterly town in the United Kingdom, Lowestoft.  They are very lucky to live be the sea and they all share a love for the beach and enjoy spending most of their time there, watching sunrises and jumping in the waves, no matter the weather.

Harry has a younger sister Jessica, who he enjoys playing games with and helping her to learn coding. There is an 18 month age gap between him and his sister. Although many people comment on how they are both "Two peas in a pod".

Harry and his family also have a dog called Bonnie, who enjoys giving the children a cuddle after long days at school.
