I’m anxious about my birthday this year, as I don't know what to expect for a double digit.

I don't know what I will get for it, and I don't know what'll happen and I don't know what sort of things will come along the new like 10 year old road. I feel like maybe, it will be like trying to cross a busy road with cars racing by in every direction.

I also feel like there will be a mass lot of things to think about and challenges, but I know sometimes it can be hard for you too, to process your 10th birthday or your upcoming birthday and I'm finding it the same.

I keep thinking of a helpful tip and here is one, try and tell your family the sort of gift you want and then fingers crossed you'll get it.

I don’t like surprises, I like to know what I am to get as gifts because it’s easier for me to show my emotion when I receive them. I also don’t like if I get a gift past my age range, as we should all know what's an appropriate age range to give to someone, it bothers me when stuff is unsuitable.

What about how you're feeling and your thoughts on presents?

If I am really honest I'm feeling quite anxious, but I'm also quite excited anxious too. Because I'll be changing to year five for my birthday and that bothers me, but I am excited with a double digit birthday as maths is fun with double the digits, but I know mum might come up with new ways to help me this year.

Won't you, mum?

So if you don't know what to expect for an upcoming birthday, maybe you could at least tell your parents what your’e anticipating for your birthday and well…… fingers cross you'll get it and maybe a bit more.

Signing off bye. 🌈
